Diana L. Foster, PhD is the CEO and Chief Diversity Officer of TOTAL Diversity Clinical Trial Management, a leading organization focused on increasing diversity and inclusion in clinical trials. She previously served as Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the Society of Clinical Research Sites (SCRS), where she initiated programs like the Global Impact Partner Programs. An expert in diversity and clinical site best practices, Dr. Foster developed the Diversity Site Assessment Tool and authored numerous research publications. Over two decades, she has spoken at global conferences, authored five industry books, including Global Issues in Patient Recruitment and Retention, and co-authored Diversity in Clinical Trials with Dr. Jerome Adams, former U.S. Surgeon General.
She has held significant roles, including partner at Metroplex Clinical Research Center, past Chairman of the Board of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP), founder of D. Anderson and Company, and creator of Rheumatology Research International– an early Site Management Organization. Her accolades include being named an International Woman of Influence by the Global EXEC Women’s International Council, a finalist for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year, and a spot on PharmaVOICE’s list of “100 Most Inspiring People in the Life-Sciences Industry.” Dr. Foster is among the accomplished women around the globe who are changing the way international clinical trials are conducted.
Dr. Foster holds a PhD in Research Theory and Statistics from Texas Woman’s University.
