Giselle Carlota-McDonnell joined Project Access New Haven in 2011 as a bilingual patient navigator and now serves as the organization’s Executive Director. Project Access New Haven, a nonprofit based in New Haven, Connecticut, is dedicated to expanding access to medical care and services for underserved patients.
Her multicultural upbringing, which spans Argentina, Egypt, Italy, and the U.S., has deeply enriched her understanding of cultural diversity and shaped her commitment to advocating for community health, equality, and equity.
As an Executive Director, Giselle is actively involved in various coalitions and steering committees, where she amplifies community voices and advises on community health initiatives and patient navigation strategies. Her leadership reflects her dedication to building bridges in healthcare access and enhancing outcomes for those most in need.
Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Giselle graduated as a student-athlete with a bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology from the University of New Haven and holds an MBA with a focus on Leadership from Albertus Magnus College.
