Rosana Gonzalez-Colaso, PharmD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor in the Physician Associate Program at Yale School of Medicine. She also holds several key leadership roles, including Faculty Director of Research Education in General Internal Medicine, Associate Director of the Pozen-Commonwealth Fund Fellowship in Health Equity Leadership at the Yale School of Management, and Faculty Director of Workforce Development and Diversity at the Equity Research and Innovation Center (ERIC) in General Internal Medicine. Additionally, she is an affiliated faculty member at the Yale Institute for Global Health.
Her research is primarily focused on health services, with a particular interest in developing culturally and linguistically sensitive instruments to measure self-reported experiences of healthcare discrimination. Dr. Gonzalez-Colaso’s work is pivotal in advancing health equity and promoting diversity within the healthcare workforce.
Dr. Gonzalez-Colaso earned her PharmD degree from the University of Buenos Aires in 1988 and her MPH from Yale University, specializing in Public Health Policy and Administration, in 2004. She further honed her expertise as a Medical Education Fellow at the Yale School of Medicine from 2012 to 2013.
